CRAFZIO ("we," "our," or "us") operates the QuickID mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
QuickID is an offline-first application designed for educational institutions to capture, organize, and manage student photos for ID cards. We are committed to protecting your privacy and ensuring transparency about our data practices.

2.1 Local Data Storage
The following data is stored only on your device and is never transmitted:
- Student Information: Names, batch/year, custom fields, timestamps
- Photos: Student ID photos captured or imported
- App Settings: Theme preferences, storage location preferences
2.2 No Automatic Data Transmission

3. How We Use Your Information
All data stored by QuickID is used exclusively on your device for:

4. Data Storage and Security
4.1 Local Storage
All data is stored locally on your device:
- Android:
/Android/data/com.crafzio.quickid/files/CollegeIDPhotos/ - Photos organized by batch in subfolders
- Metadata stored as JSON files alongside photos
- Exports saved in app's Exports folder
4.2 Data Security
- ✅ All data remains on your device
- ✅ No cloud storage or backup (unless you manually export)
- ✅ Data accessible only through the App
- ✅ Standard device security measures apply
5. Permissions
QuickID requires the following permissions to function:
5.1 Camera Permission
- Purpose: To capture student photos
- Usage: Only when user actively uses camera feature
- Data: Photos stored locally on device only
5.2 Storage Permissions
- READ_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To access photos from device gallery
- WRITE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE: To save captured photos and export files
- READ_MEDIA_IMAGES (Android 13+): To access images on newer Android versions
5.3 No Other Permissions
QuickID does NOT request internet access, location, contacts, phone, microphone, or any other sensitive permissions.
6. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do NOT share, sell, or disclose your data to any third parties.

The only way data leaves your device is when you explicitly choose to export or share files.
7. Your Rights
7.1 Data Access
You can view all stored data within the App and access exported files in your device storage.
7.2 Data Deletion
- Delete individual photos using the App's delete function
- Delete entire batches from device storage
- Uninstall the App to remove all app data
- Manually delete files from device storage
7.3 Data Export
You can export all photos as ZIP files and student data as CSV files, saved to your device Downloads folder.
8. Children's Privacy
QuickID may be used to manage photos of students, including minors. However:

- ✅ Parents/institutions control device access
- ✅ Complies with COPPA and GDPR requirements
